KNOW THE REPUBLIC BEFORE YOU JOIN
Rules everyone can read.
Game currency
Chaps, shares, CDs, bonds, and the Winner’s Trophy are fictional game assets with no real-world cash value.
Fair play and community conduct
Use one account per person. Do not use duplicate accounts to collect extra entry grants, automate abusive requests, evade suspensions, or exploit a bug. Report suspected problems through Help & reports.
Keep discussions respectful. Harassment, spam, threats, sharing another person’s private information, and fraudulent claims are grounds for moderation. The founder moderates public forums; club leaders moderate their member forums.
Players can block private mail and submit reports. Share only the selected message or post needed for a report. Account suspensions pause new gameplay and posting without confiscating assets; players retain the existing reading and appeal options.
Profile and portfolio visibility
Your public game name, biography, avatar, aggregate current-round statistics, championship history, and achievements are visible to other signed-in players. Rankings show net worth. Club totals aggregate active members’ portfolios.
Donors can see your current holdings. The founder manually grants and removes Donor status. Donors see company names, share quantities, current prices, and market values on player profiles. Everyone can see their own holdings.
Donor status does not reveal cost basis, private transaction history, mail, or private club discussions, and does not grant editing or moderation powers. Donor assignments currently collect no payment.
Private communication and saved data
Private mail is available to its participants in the game. Private club discussions require current membership. Selected content submitted with a report can be reviewed by the founder; that does not open the rest of the conversation or forum.
Email addresses and authenticated account IDs are not published in player profiles or game responses. Your reading notebook and return-performance comparisons are private to your account.
Game and community records are stored to operate the game and preserve history. Encrypted recovery snapshots include saved game data and profile photos. Technical hosting access is separate from ordinary in-game viewing permissions.
Use Help & reports for account, data, conduct, and bug questions. Read game updates for announced changes.
